☆Ossuary☆

It's been already a week ago but we interred my ex-husband's ashes at the ossuary.

It is difficult to explain in English how to inter ashes because of Japanese custom.

As I wrote the blog about Japanese Grave Custom, we decided to use a new type of graves called "Jumokuso."

Against the weather forecast, it was fine and not so hot. He used to join an amateur orchestra from the uni days and 3 of the members came to the ceremony even it's a weekday.
As you can see, there is a circle-shaped monument and there is a place to inter ashes behind it.
It depends but ashes are basically made into powder.
After putting ashes into the place, we put some sticks of incense and prayed for peace to him one by one.

It was really spiritual and a butterfly flew from the monument to us as if it greeted us on behalf of him.
However, it was hurt and weaken.

R.I.P

After that, we chatted a bit in front and went to have lunch.

It was fated in some way that I met these persons who would not have met without his passing away.
Anyway, it was really precious time and one of the big things was done.
By the way, his house was cleaned up after many many things had been thrown away.
This room used to be my room until 2 decades ago.
Another big thing has been done.
