☆Dandenong Ranges☆

On 29th May, the very first day of the latter semester was an excursion to Dandenong Ranges as a model course for the next assessment, 1-day tour.
Here is the itinerary.👇
The first destination was
Sherbrooke Treck from
Sherbrooke Picnic Ground.
It was really spiritual because we met an aboriginal man who talked about this area. We talked to trees, felt wildlife, heard birds singing and water flowing, and smelled nature.
There was a tree with skulls😂

The next destination was Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens.
It was really cold at that time so leaves were turning red.
Then, we went to "Pie in the Sky" for getting our lunch.
This is really famous for many kinds of pie.
I got Beef Burgundy which contained chunky pieces of beef slowly cooked in quality red wine with herbs and mushrooms. It was so good😀
We went to R.J. Hamer Arboretum and had some sweets with enjoying the fabulous view.
The last destination was William Ricketts Sanctuary
There are many sculptures created by William Ricketts, which he was inspired by aboriginal people. All the sculptures uniquely united on the chunk of rock and also showed the spiritual feeling that he was inspired by aborigines.
It was a bit difficult to understand for me the concept of the sculptures.
However, this place was so calm and tranquil.

This tour was worthy of the beginning of the latter semester.
