A few months ago, I had a chance to come here, Oizumi-Gakuen Station.
There were some bronze statues of popular anime characters so-called Animation Gate.

Galaxy Express 999 by Reiji Matsumoto
Ashita no Joe by Tetsuya Chiba
Because there was an animation creating company, Toei Animation, and the Museum of animations, they created them as symbols of their works in 2015.
It's not so big but you can see a bit of their great work that is still famous.
I used to watch the Mighty Atom series on TV in my childhood.
I didn't go to the museum but it is also a good place to visit if you are interested in Japanese animation.
